Boschetto Suite

BOSCHETTO SUITE is a composition for wind band in three movements which describes the largest green area in Malta called, Il-Buskett. The first movement, Woodland (till 05:48 from audio sample), brings to mind the several types of trees found in this area. The second movement, Water Stream (starts at 05:52 on the audio sample) , reminds the listener of the wet season in Buskett, while Verdala  (starts at 11:22 on the audio sample)  ends the work, evoking the presence of the Order of the Knights of Saint John on the island.
