Ulied il-Beraq (Sons of Lightning) (2019) is a work for 2 narrators, and wind band, celebrating Malta's rich pyrotechnic tradition. A father and son discuss their love of pyrotechnics, but also the way it has shaped their relationships and their lives. The work was written as part of the project Ħuġġieġa (Bonfire) created by the 12th May Band Social Club of Ħaż-Żebbuġ, to celebrate the town's rich pyrotechnic tradition. Contains 2 Spoken Parts
