Originally the second miniature of ‘Three Bagatelles for Solo Trumpet/Flugelhorn’, this one-minute piece is bursting with unrelenting energy, characterised by a jagged and bouncy texture. This work was a winning entry in the ‘Say it in 60 Seconds’ project, as part of the Oxford Festival of the Arts. The audio-visual recording premiere of the piece was performed by trumpeter Brendan Ball, with a planned live performance in the 2022 edition of the festival.
