Rumanz

'Rumanz' is a piano arrangement of Mozart's 'Romance' from the popular Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. It was composed for a collection of music that was published with the name A Musical Tribute to Mozart from Malta by the Malta International Airport celebrating the 250th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birth. The arrangement gives the piece a local flavour by making reference to the traditional Lament, 'Għana fil-għoli' (both forms of folk singing) and band marches which are also popularly related to Maltese culture.
