Il-Brimba

Il-Brimba is a lighthearted jazz composition that embodies the playful spirit of life. Inspired by the simple joys found in everyday moments, the piece serves as a gentle reminder not to take life too seriously.
As the composer searched for the title,a moment of serendipity occurred when his five-year-old daughter entered the room and exclaimed, "Spider, spider," while pointing to her toy spider. Embracing the whimsical nature of the piece, the composer decided to name it Il-Brimba, which means "spider" in Maltese. It now feels like the music is the soundtrack of the adventures of this playful and somewhat curious little spider.
Il-Brimba was recently recorded and commissioned by Tricia Dawn Williams played on Toy Piano in the album Tiny Keys Big Sounds
